What Is a Sewer Camera Inspection?
Sewer camera inspection is a visual inspection technique for diagnosing sewer back ups and clogs of any kind which assists us to solve the drainage problem. There is always a chance that we need to do a camera inspection every now and then for either your home, rental property or even at your business place.
How does a sewer line camera work to solve the problem
The main purpose of doing a sewer camera inspection is that we will be able to identify the root cause of our plumbing problem, that is e blockage of the sewer pipe or the drain pipe without excavating into your yard.
In this process a drain line camera is fixed to a snake cable and sent through the sewer pipe until it reaches the root cause of the plumbing problem. These cameras are water resistant and also designed to transmit signals which can be detected from the above ground, thus helping the plumbers to identify the location of the plumbing issue.
Through this Sewer camera inspection we can identify the following plumbing problems:
- Tree / Plant root penetrating into the pipeline.
- Damaged, Broken, or collapsed pipes within the sewer line.
- Major blockages which may be caused due to grease or any disposable or non-disposable products which get flushed down the drain.
- Sagging of the sewer pipes or billowing sewer lines also causes blockage in a particular portion of the pipe which tends to pile up in the course of time.
